The city of Kumanovo is the second greatest consumer of antibiotics, right next to the city of Probishtip. Aiming at awareness-raising on the rational use of antibiotics and at preventing antimicrobial resistance, the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Institute for Public Health and the Health Insurance Fund organized an educational seminar in the city of Kumanovo.
Developed primarily for primary healthcare professionals, these seminars are implemented within the two-month long national campaign for rational use of antibiotics which is supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Government of the Kingdom of Belgium...
