Re-launch of the Local Democracy Agency (LDA) in Kosovo, 10-12 February, Kosovo

CRPRC Studiorum’s representatives participated in a series of meetings organized by the Association of Local Democracy Agency (ALDA) on the 10 and 11 of February in Prishina and Peja/Pec on the occasion of the planned re-opening of an LDA in Kosovo. The meetings were held in the Association of Kosovo Municipalities (AKM) in Prishtina and in the Municipality of Peja/Pec in Peja/Pec. The mission also visited the premises of the Tavolo Trentino con il Kossovo (one of the potential partners of the LDA Peja/Pec) in Peja/Pec and in Gorazhdevc/ Gorazdevac. ›› more

The Centre for Regional Policy Research and Cooperation “Studiorum” together with the Association of Local Democracy Agencies (ALDA) organized the International launching Conference of “E-panels project: Fostering citizens’ participation and volunteering in a wider Europe”. The conference marked the beginning of a year-long initiative, to be realized in cooperation with the House of Europe, France, FIB from Spain, Association for European Partnership from Bulgaria, Local Democracy Agencies Osijek and Sisak, Croatia, NGO Horizont from Albania and CRPRC Studiorum as a partner organization from the Republic of Macedonia.

Research grant for CRPRC Studiorum

The CRPRC Studiorum recipient of research grant by the Regional Research Promotion Program (RRPP)

CRPRC Studiorum is one of the recipients of 2010/11 research grants, awarded by the Regional Research Promotion Programme (RRPP), which is managed by the University of Fribourg and financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). RRPP in the Western Balkans aims at establishing and strengthening research capacities in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. The research topics address and deal with specific issues at stake that fit into the regional umbrella topic “Political, Social and Economic Change in the Western Balkans”. ›› more
