Seminars in 5 clinics based on the data
for antibiotic consumption

    At University Clinic of Nephrology-Skopje, November 18, Prof Dr Nikola Panovski, President of the Multisectoral Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance of the Ministry of Health of Macedonia held the first seminar underlining that according to the network from 2013 to 2015, Macedonia is still among the countries with the highest percentage of resistance of bacteria to antibiotics.

    Zaklina Cekovska, Prof MD, PhD, Institute of Microbiology and Parasitology held presentation about Antimicrobial resistance at the University Clinic for children diseases-Skopje (25 November) with 45 clinicians present.

    Seminar was held at University Clinic of Anesthesiology, Reanimation and Intensive Care Medicine- CARIC-Skopje, 26 November with Ana Kaftandzieva, MD, PhD, Institute of Microbiology and Parasitology with 30 clinicians present.

    Over 65 clinicians were attending the seminar on Antimicrobal resistance at the University clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics-Skopje held by Dr Biljana Kakaraskoska Boceska, Institute of Public Health.

    On 01 of December, 2015, Gordana Jankoska, Prof MD, PhD, Institute of Microbiology and Parasitology presented the Antimicrobial resistance Europe statistics to 25 clinicians at University Clinic for Hematology-Skopje.
