The Report “HPV Vaccination Across Europe” is PublishedОбјавен е извештајот „ХПВ вакцинација низ Европа“
Cervical cancer is caused by persistent infections with certain types of the Human Papilloma Virus or HPV. There are more than 100 types of HPV. About 40 of these can infect the genital area of both men and women, and are called genital HPVs. Some of these cause genital warts and others, about 15 high-risk types, can cause the cells of the cervix to become abnormal and eventually develop into cervical cancer.
Ракот на грлото на матката најчесто е предизвикан со долготрајна инфекција од одредени видови на Хуман Папилома вирусот или накусо ХП�`. Има повеќе од 100 типови на ХП�` вирусот. Околу 40 од нив можат да се појават во гениталните области кај мажи и жени и се нарекуваат генитални ХП�`. Некои од овие типови на вирусот можат да предизвикаат разни венерични болести, додека 15 ризични типови можат да предизвикаат абнормални симптоми во грлото на матката и подоцна можат да прераснат во рак. Milestone Development on Patients’ Rights in the European ParliamentКлучен развој за правата на пациентите во Европскиот парламент
The European Parliament recently voted to adopt a report that will give patients the possibility to travel throughout Europe in order to receive healthcare. Building on over ten years of rulings from the European Court of Justice, the Directive is now closer to realisation following adoption of the report by 297 votes for, 120 against and 152 abstention.
Европскиот Парламент неодамна го усвои извештајот кој ќе им даде на пациентите можност да патуваат низ Европа со цел да добијат здравствена услуга. Директивата е се поблиску до реализација, тоа го покажува усвојувањето на извештајот со 297 гласови ЗА, 120 против и 152 воздржани.

World Health Day 2009 focuses on the safety of health facilities and the readiness of health workers who treat those affected by emergencies. Health centres and staff are critical lifelines for vulnerable people in disasters – treating injuries, preventing illnesses and caring for people’s health needs.
Save lives. Make hospitals safe in emergencies
They are cornerstones for primary health care in communities – meeting everyday needs, such as safe childbirth services, immunizations and chronic disease care that must continue in emergencies. Often, already fragile health systems are unable to keep functioning through a disaster, without immediate and future public health consequences.
This year, WHO and international partners are underscoring the importance of investing in health infrastructure that can withstand hazards and serve people in immediate need. They are also urging health facilities to implement systems to respond to internal emergencies, such as fires, and ensure the continuity of care.

Светскиот ден на здравјето 2009 се фокусира на безбедноста на здравствените установи и на подготвеноста на здравствените работници кои ги третираат итните случаи. Здравствените центри и персонал се клучни за ранливите групи во напогоди – за третирање на повреди, спречување на болести и грижа за здравствените потреби на луѓето.
“Спасувајте животи. Направете ги болниците безбедни во време на непогоди“
Тие се носечки темел на примарната здравствена заштита на заедниците – даваат одговор на секојдневните потреби, како на пример безбедно раѓање, имунизации, грижа за хронични болести која мора да продолжи и во случаи на вонредни состојби. Често, веќе ранливите здравствените системи не се во состојба да продолжат да функционираат за време на непогоди, без непосредни и идни последици по јавното здравје.
Оваа година, СЗО и неговите меѓународни партнери ја нагласуваат важноста на инвестирањето во здравствената инфраструктура која може да издржи опасности и да им служи на напосредните потреби на луѓето. Тие исто така бараат здравствените институции да ги спроведат системите за одговор на внатрешни непогоди, како на пример пожари, и да обезбедат континуираност на заштитата.
