In accordance with its Statute CRPRC Studiorum has Assembly, Governing (Executive) Board and management team. The Assembly of the Association is the highest structure of the Organization and consists of 5 members elected by the members of the Association; the Assembly holds meetings according to the need, but at least once a year. The President of the Association organizes the Assembly meetings. The Governing (Executive) Board of the Association is executing structure of the Assembly and consists of 5 members: president, secretary and three members.

The current management team consists of Program Director (Executive Director of the organization which is at the same time Editor of the Journal for European Issues

The overall approach used to address the issues of interest, is through cooperation with the government, business and civil sector, direct communication with relevant national and local government institutions, organization of public debates and round tables, surveys and analyzes, and publication of policy papers and briefs.

The main research approaches taken by Studiorum core team and external experts are the widely known and used approaches of identifying policy needs and priority issues, doing research based on available literature and on-site surveys of key stakeholders, preparation of policy studies, papers and briefs and communication of findings among the policy making community and general public.

Depending on the characteristics of each policy issue that is researched/advocated for (political sensitivity, relevance to EU integration agenda, outreach population, etc.) different approaches are taken (such as direct communication with the political elite, mass media coverage for introduction of new concepts, etc.).

Likewise, the approach to governments with different political provenience is adjusted in terms of language, presentation of the issue, timing, etc.

Centre for Regional Policy Research and Cooperation “Studiorum” (CRPRC Studiorum) is a non-governmental think-tank working on economic and social aspects of EU integration and globalization processes that are of essential importance for the Republic of Macedonia and the countries of Southeast Europe. This mission is accomplished through different policy-oriented programs and research projects, which contribute to and complement the attempts of policy-makers is policy design and implementation, and support central and local governments, business and nongovernmental sectors in their communication and cooperation.

Studiorum has 4 departments: (i) Public Health, (ii) Social Inclusion and poverty reduction , (iii) Energy & Environment, and (iv) New Media and the Society.

Active Citizenship Network (ACN)

Active Citizenship Network (ACN) officially began in December of 2001 as the European and international branch of the Italian citizen movement, Cittadinanzattiva (Active Citizenship). Its mission is to promote and support the construction of a European citizenship as an “active citizenship” meaning the exercise of powers and responsibilities of citizens in policy making. This recognizes the prior role of national and local citizens’ organizations and their strengthening as participants in policy making. It also requires an enrichment of the concept of subsidiarity in the European Union to include the relationship between institutions and citizens, in order that institutions favor the free initiative of citizens, both as individuals and as organizations, in carrying out activities directed to the common interest.
