The Center for Regional Policy Research and Cooperation “Studiorum” organizes a Conference “Business and Human Rights” on the 12th of May, 12.30-15.30h at the University American College – Skopje in Skopje.
Studiorum participated in the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities’ consultations on the first two Draft General Comments on the Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Within the frame of consultations of stakeholders for the second UPR of Macedonia, Studiorum submitted a Joint Submission together with Roma S.O.S. and LIL. This submission and all other documents for the review scheduled for January 30th, 2014, are now live online. We are glad to see that a majority of the recommendations and a big part of the critical assessment of the current situation found their place in the Summary prepared by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The Sarajevo-based, four-day long YouthLINC Innovation Lab gathered nearly 110 young people from six Balkan countries. Divided into ten smaller geographically and gender-balanced groups and supported by IT experts, the participants worked together and developed their project ideas for two days. The closing ceremony showed that in the end, they managed to turn their conceptions into reality!
