PAP – Program for Anticorruption Practitioners
Istanbul, Turkey 22 June- 2 July, 2009

The Skills Building Component included 10-days interactive and participatory residential Training Program aimed at improving anticorruption practitioners training, consulting and facilitation skills. The Skills Building Component used FPDL training materials and other relevant readings. The objective of the second phase of PAP, the Skills Building Component, was for the participants to gain new perspectives, ways of being TCF (Trainer, Consultant, Facilitator), skills and self-confidence as TCF, in order to be able to initiate, design and conduct interventions in local government organizations in order to cure and prevent corruption. Apart from the trainers from FPDL – Ana Vasilace and Nicole Rata, the Skills Building Component was also enhanced by the insights given by Mr. Ronald Mclean-Abaroa, Senior Governance Specialist at the World Bank.

In the period of March-May 2009, Studiorum’s team was competing in the first phase of the PAP, the Knowledge Building Component, along with 32 teams world-wide. The tasks of the first phase was to complete the tutorial provided by FPDL and to prepare 4 modules i.e. 4 analysis regarding the organization’s structure and vulnerability to corruption as well as applying the same analysis to one municipality in Macedonia.
