Participation at the “Cooperation for Poverty Reduction” European Initiative Meeting

copore_confThe overall objective of COPORE is to furnish guidelines and reference points which are useful in developing competences for poverty reduction. This meeting aims to identify good practices and to define competences for poverty reduction for health, social and educational workers.

Biljana Kotevska, CRPRC Studiorum’s representative, will take part in the COPORE meeting in Amsterdam scheduled for this 23-24 April 2010. The COPORE Conference will be organized around five working groups, which will each take up one important strand. The work of the groups will constitute the COPORE report. Five working groups:

  • Interdisciplinary approach in Social and Health care to prevent and/or combat poverty;
  • Community development and client participation approaches to addressing health inequalities;
  • Preventive and outreaching approaches;
  • Eradicating disadvantages in Education – (Poverty reduction); and
  • Work and worklessness.

CRPRC Studiorum’s representative will give a poster presentation within the first working group “Interdisciplinary approach in social and health care to prevent and/or combat poverty” of the abstract “Providing a Nation-Based Health Insurance to Increase Access to Health Care and Reduce Poverty” good practice from Macedonia.
