International Day for Fight against Corruption, December 9 – Studiorum and European Link Center, Gostivar

In order to mark the date, December 9, the civil society organization European Link Center from Gostivar together with Municipality Gostivar and UNDP office in Macedonia organized a public debate within the frameworks of the municipality. CRPCR Studiorum was invited to present its activities within the area of decentralization, including the analysis of Macedonian local governments’ vulnerabilities to corruption. The debate that took place after the presentations emphasized the education of youth and the awareness raising of this population for the corruption’s devastating effects over the environment and local government’s development. Mr. Muzafer Saliu, President of the European Link Center argued that with such activities and influencing youth’s awareness, one will influence the vulnerable system to change.
