Participation at the Regional Research Promotion Programme Research’s Methods Colloquium: Analysis of Secondary Data
The Analysis of Secondary Data, hosted by the RRPP Local Coordination Unit of Kosovo took place at the University of Prishtina. The colloquium was held by Brian Kleiner, head of the Data and Research Information Services division at the Swiss Foundation for Research in Social Sciences (FORS) from Lausanne, Switzerland and Oliver Lipps, senior researcher at FORS.
The purpose of this colloquium was to address various aspects of using secondary data for analysis, with focus on quantitative datasets, but attention was also given to reusing qualitative data. In addition, the workshop concentrated on data management and appropriate documentation of original research. Researchers from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and the Republic of Macedonia attended the colloquium.
